In Mexico the influence of the red-indiens, inca civilisation and spanisch influence is very noticable. Old Inca-buildings were often decorated with the feathered snake or as its name is "quetzalkotl", the promise of dawn also a sign of spring. These elements were used by the national Ballet. The two people in the painting were in the ballet. | |
